Relationships and Attachment
Attachment theory is at the heart of the work we do. Our relationships, past and present, shape how we see ourselves, how we connect with others, and how we respond emotionally. As meaningful as relationships are, they can also be challenging, confusing, and sometimes painful. In therapy, we’ll explore your patterns, triggers, and emotional responses in relationships, while also building concrete skills to deepen connection, improve communication, and support healthier, more fulfilling connections across the board.
Young Adults
Adjusting to life as a young adult can be overwhelming. It’s a time filled with transitions, identity exploration, and big questions about who you are and what you want. In the midst of “adulting” it’s easy to lose touch with yourself. Our sessions create space just for you; a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect. Together, we’ll build insight and develop practical tools to help you navigate these formative years with more clarity and confidence.
Trauma and CPTSD
When we've experienced trauma, the past can feel like it's constantly intruding on the present. In our work, we begin by building safety and stability, so you can feel more grounded in your daily life. As our work together progresses, we often integrate somatic approaches like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support healing not just in the mind, but also in the body. This work takes courage, and together, we’ll move at your pace toward greater connection, clarity, and relief.
Anxiety
Anxiety can feel like a loud voice in your head that keeps you stuck; making it hard to be present or take steps toward your goals and happiness. In therapy with me, we focus on two things: first, learning practical skills and strategies to manage anxiety, drawing from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches. Second, we explore the root causes of your anxiety through deeper, insight-driven work. If you’re open to it, we also incorporate somatic techniques that work hand in hand with the nervous system to help release anxiety held in the body. Together, we create a personalized path toward greater calm and freedom from your anxious thoughts.
Highly Sensitive People
Being highly sensitive means you feel emotions deeply and experience the world in a rich, intense way. We see this as a real superpower; one that, when understood and supported, can bring incredible insight and connection. In our sessions, you’ll always find a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore and express your emotions. Together, we’ll work on feeling more grounded and in control, while learning acceptance and compassion for yourself and your emotional experiences.
Women’s Issues
Supporting women through life’s many stages is a true passion of ours. Therapy offers a space where your unique experiences are truly heard and valued; a place to connect with your inner strength, embrace healing, and find your authentic voice.
We work with women navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and the pressures that often come with career, romantic relationships, and reproductive health. Together, we’ll explore these experiences and equip you with tools to overcome obstacles and build a balanced, empowered sense of self.
