Courtney Cohen, LMHC.
Founder and Psychotherapist at Authentic Healing Psychotherapy
Are you feeling consumed by emotions that seem impossible to manage? Or maybe your thoughts are racing, and no matter what you do, you can’t turn them off. Perhaps you’re feeling stuck, struggling to make decisions that matter.
If this sounds familiar, know that you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to offer you a space that’s safe, trustworthy, and free of judgment. Together, we’ll tap into your inner resilience and strength, so you can start experiencing the self-compassion, motivation, and confidence you deserve.
What to expect from a session with me
I specialize in guiding adults and teens through the rough patches of life. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, or those big life transitions that throw you off balance, I’m here to help you regain control.
In our sessions, you’ll gain practical tools as well as a deeper understanding of the behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll create a space where you can explore new ways of living—free from the anxiety, self-doubt, and inner criticism that have been weighing you down.
THERAPEUTIC STYLE
My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to your unique needs. As a relationally focused psychotherapist, I prioritize showing up as an authentic human in our sessions, rather than a blank slate. I draw from a range of modalities, including relational therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic techniques, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I am also fully trained in and can provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I tailor our work together based on what resonates most with you. The way I see it, we can use any or all of the tools at our disposal, whenever we need them.
If anything here resonates with you, I’d love to learn more about your story. Reach out today for a complimentary 30-minute phone consultation, and together we’ll start building the life you’ve always wanted.
